Once he grasps that the higher part of his being not only knows immeasurably more than he what is good for him, but also possesses infinitely more power than he does to bring it about, he is ready to enter upon the surrendered life…He realizes that other forces are now beginning to enter his life and mind, and his part is not to obstruct them but to let them do their work. The more his own passivity meets their activity, the better will this work be done.
